In connection with the accession of Ukraine to the Energy Community in 2011, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine developed a draft of the National Action Plan on Energy Efficiency until 2020.

The main sources of financial resources for the implementation of projects to improve energy efficiency are the company’s own funds and budget funds, however, a larger share of the available financing of heat supply system modernization projects in Ukraine is formed at the expense of funds from international financial organizations and donors, which is more than 80%.
