The design, supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of Mobile Block Boiler Rooms

Period: February 2025 – June 2025

Name of the program (MFI): GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH/ German Society for International Cooperation)

Amount of the project:  6 485 447 euros

Technical description:

In order to implement the international technical assistance (ITA) project “Strengthening the Resilience of Cities in the Sphere of Life Support of Urban Territorial Communities in Ukraine”, financed through the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH under the Framework Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on Consulting and Technical Cooperation dated May 29, 1996, and to carry out a full range of works on the design, supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of Mobile Block Boiler Rooms of a certain capacity at 13 assembly sites in Ukraine, GIZ and KOMENERGOSERVICE LLC (as the Contractor) concluded Contracts for works and materials for 4 Lots.

From the end of February 2025 to June 2025, a series of large-scale projects were implemented to introduce modern autonomous mobile block boiler rooms, which provide reliable heat supply without the need for the constant presence of operators.

All implemented mobile block boiler rooms are equipped with modern diesel generators, which guarantee uninterrupted operation of the systems in conditions of emergency power outages.

Advantages of implemented BMC:

  • Autonomy of work without the need for staff presence;
  • Reliability and efficiency thanks to the use of equipment from world brands;
  • Environmental safety and compliance with European standards;
  • Timely and professional support at all stages of implementation

The manufacturers of modular structures used in these projects are the leading Ukrainian companies “Evrospecsprom” and “Kotlogaz”. The main equipment of the boiler rooms was modern BOSCH gas boilers, highly efficient WILO pumps, reliable and economical WEISHAUPT gas burners, as well as water softening units manufactured by ECOSOFT.

Stages of project implementation:

  • Development of technical specifications and preparation of source data;
  • Obtaining technical conditions for gas, water and electricity supply;
  • Design and approval of documentation;
  • Manufacturing and delivery of modular structures;
  • Installation and connection of equipment to engineering networks;
  • Installation and adjustment of diesel generators;
  • Commissioning and commissioning assistance;
  • Training local personnel in the operation of modern equipment.

Training for participants of the international technical assistance project
In order to increase the effectiveness of the implementation of the international technical assistance project, the company “KOMENERGOSERVICE” organized and conducted training for project participants. The training included the following areas:
  • control of automated boiler systems;
  • scheduled maintenance;
  • safety requirements during operation;
  • monitoring and diagnostics of equipment operation.
The knowledge gained will allow the recipient specialists to effectively participate in commissioning and adjustment work and ensure the proper operation of boiler plants in the future.
